Doximity Dialer video calls now support DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) tones. When you tap a number to add a phone participant — like a language interpreter — the tone actually registers with the system on the other end, instead of just playing locally on your device.
That means navigating phone trees and IVR menus during a video call works exactly as reliably as it does on a regular phone call — no more tapping a number and hoping it went through.
DTMF tone support is available now on web, iOS, and Android.
