What is PeerCheck™?

PeerCheck™ by Doximity strives to ensure the promise of AI in medicine remains grounded in human wisdom. Tech that works for doctors, not the other way around. Guided by Hippocrates’s belief that “Where there is a love of medicine, there is a love of humanity.”, PeerCheck™ unites experts in verifying and refining AI clinical insights—preserving trust, compassion, and clinical excellence at every step. By taking a ‘bottoms up’ approach to frontline clinical questions, we seek to serve the most asked/needed questions in medicine.

How can I participate in PeerCheck™?

Reviewers are invited to participate in PeerCheck™. We will ask that you review the AI answers to clinical questions asked by Doximity users in areas germane to your expertise. Upon validating the AI answer, your submission becomes part of the PeerCheck™ project with you attributed as a reviewer.

Will my name be used?

Yes, as a PeerCheck™ reviewer, your name, and a link to your Doximity profile will be at the top of the PeerCheck™ content you validated. When other users access PeerCheck™ content on Doximity, they will be shown which human experts reviewed the output, as well as when the output was last reviewed.

Can I pull my name from a PeerCheck™ review?

Yes - if you change your mind or are no longer comfortable with having your name associated with your review, we can help delist you as a PeerCheck™ reviewer.

Will I be compensated for my contribution?

Yes - we value your time. If your review is accepted into the PeerCheck™ project, you will receive $100 for your contribution. If you continue to participate by contributing additional reviews, you will be eligible for additional compensation.

I am scared about liability, am I protected?

Yes, Doximity handles any liability associated with the content on our platform. Doximity users are advised to review any and all content before making clinical decisions. The PeerCheck™ project strives to make clinician users all that more comfortable leveraging AI in their clinical decision making by virtue of adding this human layer of review and consensus building.
