Today, we’re proud to announce an important milestone in our company’s history. U.S. physicians and healthcare professionals have now completed over 100 million patient calls using Doximity Dialer!
We launched our secure calling tool in 2016, with the goal of making it just a little bit easier for physicians to connect with their patients. It was clear early on that Dialer was a big hit.
Doctors could finally call patients in a HIPAA-compliant fashion with their own smartphones, while away from their offices and integrated with Epic Haiku, the mobile version of their EHR. Moreover, we made it easy to set Caller ID to their main office lines. And with that, doctors could rest assured knowing their privacy, as well as their patient’s, would be completely protected.
Fast- forward to 2020 and at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded Dialer’s capabilities with the introduction of secure video visits, making Dialer a complete telemedicine platform. Dialer has gone on to be one of the most-used and best-reviewed telemedicine tools on the market today, with over 100K physicians using it regularly for their telehealth visits.
The Journal of American College of Surgeons rated Dialer the “easiest way to connect with patients” available today.
But we haven’t stopped there, and have gone on to roll out an enterprise version of Dialer that can be deployed hospital-wide to ensure that medical professionals can standardize on a simple, reliable telehealth solution.
We’re thrilled with how far the Doximity network has come, and continue to be proud of the impact our solutions have had on both doctors and their patients.
