We’ve recently teamed up with the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), which represents more than 151,000 osteopathic physicians (D.O.s) and osteopathic medical students. Through our work together, AOA board-certified physicians will now be highlighted on both Doximity and U.S. News & World Report’s physician profiles. And we're excited to share for the first time ever, select AOA board-certified physicians will become eligible to participate in the U.S. News’ Best Hospitals and Best Children's Hospitals surveys.

These annual lists, published by U.S. News and powered by Doximity, aim to help patients and caregivers find the best medical centers for themselves and their families.

"In prior surveys, doctors of osteopathic medicine (D.O.s). were only able to participate in the U.S. News surveys if they were certified by a board member of the American Board of Medical Specialties,” explained Ben Harder, Chief of Health Analysis at U.S. News & World Report. “Through this partnership, we are thrilled to expand eligibility to physicians certified by the American Osteopathic Association.”

As registered Doximity members, D.O.s will also be able to take advantage of some of the network’s key benefits, including:

Manage Online Presence: Working with Doximity, U.S. News offers a free online directory of more than 900,000 practicing U.S. physicians, which provides consumers with data and tools that help them choose the right medical provider.
