Powered by Doximity’s leading digital platform for healthcare providers, partnership expansion includes pivoting U.S. News surveys for Best Hospitals to be completely digital.

In early November, we announced a multi-year extension of our collaboration with U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings and health journalism.

The U.S. News Best Hospitals and Best Children’s Hospitals rankings help families find the best care for adults and children when they need it most. Doximity will continue as the exclusive provider of the physician survey which will now be digital-only, a move that will simplify and expedite the process for physicians nominating the top hospitals in their specialty.

“The goal of the U.S. News decision-making tools, including the Best Hospitals rankings, is to help reduce the complexity and anxiety of making choices by providing consumers with trustworthy information,” said Chad Smolinski, Chief Product Officer at U.S. News. “U.S. News and Doximity have partnered to expand the reach of the physician opinion surveys, and with the digital-only process, we can collect and analyze survey data more rapidly. U.S. News also uses Doximity's industry-leading data sets to better assist people in finding and connecting with their doctors.”

“Doximity’s mission is to support doctors, and our collaboration with U.S. News helps us achieve that goal,” said Nate Gross, M.D., co-founder of Doximity. “We're pleased to give physicians an opportunity to have their voices heard, and to connect them with patients who seek their care.”

For doctors, the collaboration between Doximity and U.S. News also offers an opportunity to actively and accurately present themselves to the online public. Physicians can control their information on U.S. News Doctor Finder by simply maintaining an up-to-date Doximity profile. Visitors to usnews.com – which number more than 30 million per month – have the opportunity to find a doctor that matches their healthcare needs and easily schedule appointments.
